The sun filters through the leaves of the ancient oaks as you gaze across the lawn to the majestic mountains beyond. The rich smell of coffee fills your senses and the pastry melts in your mouth. A haunting Piaf melody wafts gently in the background. At the next table, a couple enjoys a light lunch of delectable beef salad and crispy, fresh baked baguette. The Venue

Seating up to 40 guests, Café du Pontac is located within the Manor House and incorporates service on the veranda as well. Decorated in classic Pontac style, the essential 'feel' of the Café is European.

The Menu offers an interesting range of tasty, light meals prepared with the special Pontac touch. Special coffees, delectable desserts and specially created filled breads, pasta dishes and salads - amongst others - are on the menu, as well as varying daily specials. The signature cake, an exclusive Pontac creation, is a deliciously rich yet light layered gateau, served with a chilled glass of dessert wine. High Tea served on pre-booked basis.

The menu is available throughout the day and offers an alternative for guests who wish to enjoy a quick, light lunch in pleasant surroundings. Those who have plenty of time on their hands can spend the morning relaxing with a Mighty Muffin, a Cappuccino and a good book or newspaper. Early diners can enjoy the Pontac Breakfast Buffet from 7.00 until 10.00.

DUKE'S BAR AT PONTAC - Welcome to a great evening spot!

As you walk through the door, you know you`ve come to the right place. The décor is Afro-chic and the atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. The barman nods a greeting as he deftly shakes a cocktail. Gentle rock meets easy listening music as you take your seat at the bar. A young couple settles in cosily by the fireside. You place your order and like magic your drink appears: it's an ice cold beer, just what you need after a busy day out there! Ah, there's John: you go over for a chat. Also on the menu is a range of unique wine cocktails, exclusively created for Duke's Bar at Pontac. The décor is Afro-chic and the atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. In winter, the huge indoor fireplace is a cosy congregation point, for local and international guests alike.
