Paarl Print E-mail

Paarl is a bustling town which lies cradled in the picturesque Berg River Valley, between the second largest granite outcrop in the world, known as Paarl Rock,  and the towering Du Toitskloof Mountains.

We pride ourselves on our magnificent natural scenic beauty - mountains, rivers, a rich floral kingdom, views and open spaces. This is enhanced by a unique architectural heritage, which fascinates architects and tourists from around the world.

Paarl

With our wonderful warm summers and cool mild winters, producing internationally renowned wines, export fruit and fresh produce, Paarl is a unique "tasting experience". Should visitors wish to taste wine, buy fresh farm produce at one of the many farm stalls, enjoy a light meal under the leafy oaks, sip a delicious glass of wine as the sun turns the mountain into a soft purple, sample traditional Cape Cuisine or dine at a superb restaurant - we offer true Cape hospitality.

Even though Paarl has a country feel about it, it is a mere 40 minute drive to Cape Town and is within easy reach of all the other major attractions in the Western Cape.Easy access to beautiful beaches of the Strand and Gordon'sbay is an added bonus (about 45 minutes' drive to the Indian Ocean Seaboard)
